How To Make A Booking

  1. Double-check with BloodBrother Studios that the day and time you wish to book for the studio is available and inform us of your intended use of the Studio, e.g., “editorial photo-shoot,” “corporate video,” or “portrait,” which will become the “permitted purpose” of the Hire.

  2. To make a booking for BloodBrother Studios, a full payment is required to secure the time. Our full payment is refundable of 50% if you wish to cancel.

Studio Hire Day

On the day of your booking:
● Please do not arrive more than thirty minutes before your booking time.

Whilst at the Studio:

● Ensure that at the end of your studio time, you are packed and ready to vacate the studio, or additional hire time may be charged.

● The Studio should be left in a similarly clean and tidy state as when it was first entered. Hirers are expected to spend the last 15 minutes of the booking time making sure this is done.

● Damaged/soiled background paper is chargeable at £15/m.
● We have some expensive items of furniture and props in the Studio; please take

care when using and handling them. All chairs and sofas must be lifted, not dragged, if moved.

BloodBrother Studios is located at Wolds Farm Business Park, Kinoulton, Nottingham, NG12 3EQ. We request that respect be shown to other tenants in the area. Please avoid excessive noise in or around the studio.

  • At the end of the booking period, Studio Management may inspect the Studio, and the Hirer should be ready to vacate after this is done.

  • Any rubbish produced during the hire of the Studio should be disposed of in the

bins provided or removed from the premises by the Hirer.

  • All breakages within the studio must be paid for by the Hirer.

  • In the event of a breakage or damage to items/equipment within the studio, it is

    the Studio’s right to decide whether a repair or replacement is appropriate and to

    charge the full cost to the Hirer.

  • The Studio does not accept responsibility for property and equipment brought

    into the premises by the Hirer, or for vehicles parked outside.

  • Controlled drugs, explosives, weapons, or any illegal items are not permitted on

    the premises.

  • Children should only be brought into the Studio if directly involved in the shoot,

    and pets must not be brought in without prior permission.

  • For security and warmth in winter, please keep the outside door closed while at

    the studio.

  •  HEATERS MUST NOT BE PLUGGED INTO EXTENSION SOCKETS for safety

    reasons. Heaters and other high-load devices (e.g., irons) must be plugged directly into wall sockets.

Private Areas

Certain areas of the Studio premises are off-limits to Hirers and any parties brought in without our express consent. These include kitchen cupboards, any locked cupboard or wardrobe, office, and any door marked “private.” Entry or attempted entry into these areas will be considered a breach of our agreement.

Studio Hire Terms

The Hirer shall pay BloodBrother Studios hire charges as previously agreed or, unless otherwise agreed, in accordance with BloodBrother Studios’ current rate card, available on the website. A deposit is required to confirm booking date/time/duration, with full payment due by the end of the hire period, including any additional fees such as background paper usage or damages incurred.

The Studio remains the property of BloodBrother Studios. The Hirer shall have no right, title, or interest in the Studio save as outlined in these Conditions. The Hirer shall not attempt to sell, assign, mortgage, pledge, underlet, lend, or otherwise deal with the Studio or any parts thereof.

Studio Time and Access

The Hirer is responsible for removing any personal equipment immediately upon hire termination unless other arrangements are made with BloodBrother Studios. The Studio does not accept responsibility for items left behind, whether by accident or agreement.

The Hirer will not use or allow the Studio to be used for any abnormal or hazardous assignments. The Hirer is responsible for keeping the Studio in good repair (except for fair wear and tear) and for any damage or misuse. Repairs or replacements will be arranged solely by BloodBrother Studios, with associated costs charged to the Hirer.

BloodBrother Studios ensures the Studio is in sound condition at the hire commencement, but it is the Hirer’s responsibility to confirm suitability for intended purposes. BloodBrother Studios is not liable for loss or damage arising from the use or inability to use the Studio.

Hirers are responsible for their own public liability insurance covering all persons in the Studio during use, including any claims related to accident, injury, or death. The Hirer indemnifies BloodBrother Studios against all related proceedings, claims, or demands.

Additional Terms

BloodBrother Studios reserves the right to amend these terms at any time before the Hire and advises Hirers to read these conditions carefully. Qualified personnel should handle gas cylinders and similar items.

  • Horseplay is prohibited, and BloodBrother Studios may terminate the booking in such cases, with the original hire period still charged.

  • The Hirer must ensure the entrance is secure when property is moved in or out.

  • Smoking is only permitted outside.

  • BloodBrother Studios is not responsible for property or equipment on-site or

    vehicles parked outside.

    BloodBrother Studios may cancel a booking prior to its start. If the Hirer will be more than 30 minutes late, they should contact us by phone or email. Failure to arrive within the first 30 minutes of the booking time, without prior notice, may result in cancellation and forfeiture of the booking fee.

    Security devices, including CCTV, are used within the premises. Any tampering with security systems is a breach of these Terms and may lead to booking termination.
